Tips when planning a Bathroom refresh or complete Remodel

I get a ton of calls and inquiries regarding the best way to plan and start a Bathroom renovation. There a few tips I start with depending on whether we are discussing a Master Bathroom, a Kid's Bathroom or a Powder Room.

First: Who is using the space and what about the design is not working for you now.

Sometimes it's a matter of needing a complete overhaul due to an outdated design or poor space planning. You can see this a lot when you are looking at an original bathroom from a 1990's build. Usually this requires calling a General Contractor you trust and finding out what is possible in the space.

Second: Style or taste has changed and looking to try something new.

A less expensive makeover can simply be painting or wallpapering, adding new hardware or updating your lighting and mirror. I always say you can take risks in Powder Rooms and add some personality too!

Here are some pictures of spaces I've worked on recently for some inspiration!
